Obama and Communist Tactics

Barack Obama has been utilizing the tactics of Saul Alinsky to subvert the November election. His "Camp Obama" mirrors the teachings of his communist mentor wherein groups of kids are recruited to be "community organizers" to agitate socialist policies and register the uninformed to be "comrades" in his socialist movement to disassemble capitalism.

You may consider this a non-event and this group merely a minor bother. You won't believe that if you read Investors Business Daily's report here.

Castro Promised Change Too

Dick McDonald

The parallels between the change that Barack Obama promises and that which Fidel Castro promised are indistinguishable. They both just promised economic justice and fairness. In Castro's case it was all rhetoric as what he delivered was abject endemic poverty to an entire nation. Obama will never get the chance to impose a communist-type government on the American people nor do I think he is so stupid to even try.

However, his solutions to the income disparity issue in America is to punish the rich by taking their property and redistributing it to the middle-class. The man is so audacious that he doesn't even mention doing anything for the poor - knowing full well that they pay no taxes now anyway. Unfortunately his policies have been formed by his work as a community organizer bent on making government massively bigger at the expense of the private sector.

As his prescriptions are so collective in nature it is a good reminder to look what Castro did to Cuba and how some rabid right-wing Republicans have drawn parallels between the two. See this video and pass it around. I lived through the Lefts con of the American people that Castro was a force for good. He wasn't and this video reminds us of how our leftist media build up socialism and fooled us. That is what they are doing with Obama and his socialism. We need to heed this warning. Pass it around.

I Agree with the Pope, Capitalism Has Failed, So Far

Dick McDonald

In his new book the Pope denounces capitalism. I agree, capitalism has failed up to now to solve poverty. It has failed to deliver “property” to the poorest of the world’s citizens. It has even failed to deliver hope to the world that there is a better way for man to run his economic life.

The citizens of the world used to hold the United States out as a shining example of what life could be like on planet Earth, but with the advent of the 60s and the anti-American venom spewed by that drug-induced generation, the world has turned against us and our economic system of capitalism. They have flooded the world with how bad big business is, how globalism is suffocating cultures, how America is an imperialistic regime run by a military-industrial complex directed by evil men with evil aims.

Like the Pope, the radical 60s liberals who populate and dominate our academe, media and Democrat Party have no solutions to the dilemma of poverty other than taxing the rich to redistribute that “stolen” “property” to the poor. Their sole solution always involves growing government and increasing the dependency of the poor on the government. Both of our political parties have done absolutely nothing lately to stop that trend.

Unfortunately these politicians have promised more than their "paygo" system of tax collection will permit; they have incurred tens of trillion in unfunded debt only a "do over" will correct. Personal accounts are the perfect solution to this dilemma.

Today, the anti-American crowd is right there with the Pope. Contrary to experience and the evidence these economically-challenged special-interest mini-mobs still believe in socialism and the proposition of equal rewards for unequal contributions. They still hold out that man will be content to sublimate his instinct to get up each morning and compete for “territory”. They believe he will be as content to underwrite the indolence of all those who know how to game the system.

It doesn’t work that way and it never will. Man is not instinctually altruistic.

Everyone that reads me knows I am promoting the “rise up theory of economics” in which capitalism is the economic tool used to Make the Poor Rich. I want to prove to the Pope and every biblical and political philosopher that being poor is only a state of mind not an economic certainty.

By (1) creating a “pool of capital” for every working person in America, (2) having him or her spouse share this personal investment account with their spouse and (3) forcing them to invest it in the world’s stable economies for the entire 40 years of their working life we will create a nation of millionaires not all of whom need to be highly educated or gifted in any way. Many will enjoy working with their hands and living a simple life knowing their economic future is secure.

The nice thing about my plan is that it requires no investment from its participants. Their pool of capital is created by taking the 15% that they presently pay to the Federal government in the form of payroll taxes and diverting those funds into their “personal accounts” held by a trustee during their working life.

Another justification for repealing the old dinosaurs Social Security and Medicare and replacing them with personal accounts is that 3.3 million Federal workers have had their own “personal accounts” for almost 20 years and that program works just fine. It is not too expensive, it is not risky, it has steadily grown in value and Wall Street has been excluded from managing it. It is almost the exact program I am stumping for except the government would be unable to interfere with the investment decisions of the participants in any way nor invade those accounts for any reason.

Yes, I agree with the Pope; capitalism to date has failed. It has been helpful but like socialism and other political constructs it has never solved poverty. However, I believe capitalism can “rise up” to the occasion now and slay the poverty dragon – this time forever.

The Rise Up Theory of Economics #3

Dick McDonald

Even though the economy is doing well we still have some serious economic problems that have spawned some serious social problems. The killings at Virginia Tech is a good example. A 4th year student had been brainwashed into believing that the “rich brats” with their “golden necklaces” and “trust funds” were oppressing the weak and powerless. Of course that belief had been drilled into him by our 60s professors - like Ward Churchill - who believe capitalism is evil and that America is an evil empire run by evil men and evil corporations with evil imperialistic goals.

I know the problem at Virgina Tech is the same at almost all universities. The professors dislike our economic system. Capitalism has created a great gap in income between the families of the rich kids they’re guilting and the kids from middle class and poor families they are inciting. The professors have no solutions other than socialism and its ugly sister “tax the rich” to redistribute to the poor. The professors disregard the fact that our poor are richer than most people in the world. It is just their perception that matters.

I believe the professors thinking has the same basic flaw as the one that has caused the endemic poverty we saw in New Orleans; the one that has caused the disintegration of the American family, the increasing incidence of crime and gangs in our streets, the ever-increasing irresponsibility of Congress, our ever-increasing tax load, a bigger and bigger government to finance, a failure to fund our entitlement programs and a host of other socio-economic problems.

That problem is that our economic system of capitalism - - just like the social systems of religion and politics –it has never solved the riddle of poverty. It has only given lip service to closing the income gap between the poor and the rich. Folks politicians are content to use that poverty to stay in office. It is a guaranteed winner;
letting the “mob” vote themselves entitlements.

Politicians have never used the enormous power of capitalism to Make the Poor Rich. In fact they continue to tax the poor and middle class unmercifully so they remain poor and middle class. And to make matters worse they unconscionable tax the rich which impedes the growth of the country –giving enormous trillions to politicians who just buy votes with that money with their daily road show, talking points and their deceptions that pull the heart strings and make the weak more and more dependent on them.

Over the years the people have given too much power to government and the government could care less about the people. So long as they continue to say the right things to get re-elected and keep secret how they steal the people’s property right from under their nose they keep their power and you lose most of yours.

Let’s take one clear example that (1) proves up my rise up theory of economics, (2) illustrates my solution to all these core problems and (3) demonstrates how your Congress has gotten theirs and you haven’t. Yes this will prove they have been stealing you blind.

Let’s take those personal accounts that President Bush failed to get the people and the Congress interested in a couple of years ago. First he failed to mention that replacing the payroll taxes and letting the people invest that money in their personal accounts would make everyone a millionaire in 2007 dollars at the end of their working life. He failed to mention that a minimum wage worker making just $7.25 a hour for 40 years would end up with a $1.2 Million nest egg and a $10,000 a month retirement check before considering wage inflation. He failed to compare that to the $800 we now get under the present Social Security system. Now do you really think he just can’t market his ideas or is just trying to walk that mile an inch at a time?

More tragically he failed to mention that he, his administration, your Senators and Congressmen and 3.3 Million Federal employees ALL already have personal accounts. That’s right they have them and you don’t. They have had them since the eighties. Besides their massive hypocrisy, they keep this secret from the people. Why? It is very simple. If the people rise up and ask for their payroll taxes back, politicians will lose their power and half of their budget and all those compassionate issues they use to extract more taxes and power from you. Does this make you mad? It should. Our Founders would be storming the Halls of Congress by now..

All those of you who bought the lie that personal accounts will destroy our retirement system, ask yourself this question. If the Federal government employees who have been participating in their retirement program for almost 20 years and that program is almost identical to my plan wouldn’t their experience with their personal accounts be proof that personal accounts would be good for you? The truth of the matter is that their plan, The Thrift Savings Plan, has grown steadily despite the fact it invested a small amount in Enron, it has cost less than 1% per year to operate and it has developed several stable broad-based bond and stock funds for the employee to chose to invest in. Your politicians are benefiting in our capitalist system while telling you the lie that if you get them you will destroy Social Security. Maybe it is time we did.

So how does it make you feel Mr. and Mrs. Average American. Your Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, says that Social Security is an insurance plan not an investment plan when in fact her own retirement fund is up to its nose in stock investments. And don’t forget Teddy Kennedy and John Kerry and all those multi-million dollar bleeding hearts. Those hearts aren’t bleeding for you. They just pull your heart strings to feather their own nest while they keep you poor and maxed out.

My plan will return the power to the people. It will put that 15% you and your employer pay into the government in payroll taxes in your own personal account to be invested during your working life to grow into a million dollar nest egg. But don’t take my word for it. Go to makethepoorrich.com and click the $20,000, $40,000 and $60,000 a year salary tables and track the progress for each of the 40 years. Just one table will prove my point. The $60,000 truck driver and his wife end up with $4.8 Million after 40 years.

I can take the next two days telling you all about the great things restoring both money and power to the people will do and how to get there. But we don’t have the time and we have an uphill battle to fight. The media, colleges, unions, government employees, the entertainment industry and your elected officials will be against my plan and your best interests. They will try to silence me and you. It will take a lot of money and effort to bust through their control of the national dialogue.

We will need money to guarantee you, your kids and grandkids that they will be millionaires not poor, middle class or bag ladies like our present tax system can guarantee. Go to the makethepoorrich.com website and contribute to our cause. It can be done. 85% of the people know Congress is stealing us blind. It is time we gave them a permanent vacation. We need to start a grass roots effort to initiate a 21st Century Boston Tea Party. Won’t you help us - help you, your kids and family?

The Rise Up Theory of Economics #2

Dick McDonald

Today I want to discuss how powerless the American people have become when it comes to governing themselves. As a tax man I am continually amazed at how a nation of powerful people started our country off with a revolution throwing a king and a cargo of tea into Boston Harbor because the king imposed a 3% tax on tea

Then ----- 231 years later

turn into a nation willing to pay 15% in payroll taxes, 35% in Federal income taxes, 10% in state taxes, 8% in sales taxes and ungodly amounts of property, gasoline, excise and death taxes. It continues to amazes me.

As a tax expert for 40 years, I went several decades without personally paying any income or payroll taxes. I worked hard to do the same for my clients and the rich partners in my programs.

Today I want to do the same thing. I want to make the rich richer. I don’t want them to pay taxes. But I have a problem. Their customers, the poor and the middle class don’t have the money to spend. They are tapped out. Last year they hit their credit cards for more than they made.

What to do. How can I get our capitalist system running on all eight cylinders instead of one? Then it hit me. Let’s make the poor and the middle class wealthy so they are better customers for the rich. In fact let’s make them so wealthy they become rich too – what an idea - a richer and more affluent customer base.

Being the one-dimensional tax man that I am I immediately thought of saving taxes to let the poor and middle class have a pool of capital to invest in the vibrant American economy so when they retire after their 40 to 50-year working life they have an nest egg to retire on. I thought about personal accounts and returning the payroll taxes back to the people to invest in the stock and bond market and become millionaires.

My plan - it developed - had several problems I had to address;

First, most people can’t manage their own money. Therefore, rule #1 of my plan is that contributing to the pool of capital had to be involuntary; the taxpayer will have no say, it is just an automatic thing.

Secondly, It can’t cost the taxpayer one dime more than it does now – it will be the same 15% deducted for payroll taxes now paid for by the taxpayer and his employer or just the taxpayer if he is self-employed.

Third, the taxpayer’s funds must be placed in trust unreachable by politicians, Congress, taxes, courts, one’s creditors or spouses and critically by the taxpayer himself. This is a given. No one, no entity, no institution can invade the taxpayer’s personal account during his working life or my plan won’t work.

Fourth, as a minimum all present and future retirees without the time to accumulate million-dollar nest eggs must be guaranteed to receive from the government no less than the amounts presently paid under Social Security, Disability and Medicare for the rest of their lives. That is a minimum requirement of my plan

Fifth, the taxpayer’s funds cannot be managed by stock brokers or investment houses; the trust will merely invest in already existing stock and bond indexed funds directly bypassing the cost of Wall Street advice, management and tricks.

Sixth, the taxpayer will control which bond or stock funds his or her money is invested in during their working life. These funds will track the steady upward movement of the market and grow with our economy.

Seventh, the funds cannot be invested in risky stocks funds They must contain hundreds of quality stocks to avoid having one or two or even a group of them crash the whole account.

Those are just some of the fixes I have crafted to eliminate the fears most people have about personal accounts. Forget about the fear of financing the transition to personal accounts, we are a country with $400 trillion in assets and a measly $2.3 trillion owed to foreigners. We are filthy rich and don’t let the politicians whine about how they have screwed up their books, America is one monstrous economic success.

The math of accumulating a million-dollar nest egg is unquestionable. Go to my website www.makethepoorrich.com and click on the $20,000, $40,000 or $60,000 a year taxpayer and see each and every one of the forty years accumulate into millions in 2007 dollars. A truck driver and his wife end up with $4.8 Million and a $40,000 a year retirement check.

If you need further convincing go to www.riseuptheoryofeconomics.com and read further about my plan. It will restore your faith in yourself and your ability to make a difference in this world. Restore your power by cutting back on that you got tricked into giving your politicians.

The Rise Up Theory of Economics
Short Summary

Dick McDonald

Non-inflammatory script for KCAA 1050 appearance at 11:30 AM May 5, 2007:

Vince I want to thank for this chance to introduce to your audience my “rise up theory of economics”. Unlike the “trickle down” theory that favored the rich, my “rise up theory” favors the poor and middle class.

It is quite simple to understand,

When trickle down was enacted early in the 1980s, tax rates on the rich were drastically reduced. Over time the rich took that extra cash and invested it in the economy creating jobs and expanding businesses. Today – 25 years later – the rich are so rich under the trickle down theory that the gap between the rich and poor is actually quite upsetting to a fair and just people like average Americans. In fact I believe that is why the latest poll on the approval of Congress is a miserable 14%.

I have constructed my “rise up theory” not to punish the rich for their success but to create a law that essentially allows the poor and middle class to become rich too. In a sense “rise up” - to the average American - does what “trickle down” did for the rich. It will make them wealthy.

To make the average American wealthy will require that we create a pool of capital for them to invest in our capitalist economy. It has to be capital that can’t be reached by government or private parties and especially by the taxpayer himself - or his or her spouse. It has to be safely invested during his or her working life and not invaded for any reason by anyone until retirement; by then the pool will have grown so large that the taxpayer (and his spouse) can live - just off the income - and pass their entire nest egg to their children.

Where does the rise up theory get the pool of capital for average Americans? Well quite simply we use the taxpayer’s own money. We take that 15% that the government takes from each taxpayer in the form of payroll taxes and place that money in a personal investment account owned solely by the taxpayer until they retire.

If you are unaware of it, a self-employed person pays 15.3% to the government for Social Security, Disability and Medicare taxes. Employees pay half the 15.3% and their employers pay the other half. Anyway you cut it, it is 15% out of every person’s income paid to the government, and then we taxpayers suffer the indignity of having that 15% subject to double taxation by having to include it in the computation of our taxable income.

Now don’t go wobbly before I explain how we can afford to do this. But first let’s look at what we are trying to accomplish. In an average 40-year working life a minimum wage earner stuck at $7.25 per hour for 40 years will accumulate a nest egg of $1.2 Million dollars just from the investment of that 15% and the earnings over the years that compounds like a snowball.

A $1.2 Million nest egg will throw off an income of $10,000 a month; greatly exceeding the $800 per month now paid by Social Security. A $10,000 a month income for a minimum wage worker will allow him to retire comfortably and get the best medical care available.

Now I don’t expect your audience to accept what I say. So I have set up a website makethepoorrich.com on which I have posted three different 40-year schedules, One each for $20,000, $40,000 and $60,000 a year taxpayers to prove how their nest eggs and monthly incomes are created. Go to the site and click the amount you want to verify to prove to yourself what you as an American have been missing.

The creation of million dollar nest eggs is the process of the rise up theory. The nest egg itself and the income earned on it are the mechanisms with which we solve so many of society’s problems.

Δ With just one very large nest egg Americans can take back the power they ceded to the government when they agreed to these taxes in the first place.
Δ Ordinary Americans who work for a living need not be socially or educationally capable of - or for that matter even interested in - making the big bucks as “rise up” has been constructed so they don’t need that desire or those skills or education. All they need is to be stable and industrious during their working life.
Δ Poverty as we know it will be reduced to those sick and infirm - -everyone else will prosper
Δ The Trillions of unfunded promises made by politicians will be wiped off the books and replaced by the income off the nest eggs in personal accounts
Δ By repealing the entitlements the size of the Federal and state governments will be cut in half.
Δ By repealing the entitlements Americans will have giving themselves the biggest tax cut in history – a tax cut that favors the poor and middle class.
Δ Business can cease its attempt to supplement their employee’s retirement and reduce the cost of their products to better compete in the global marketplace.
Δ By each spouse owning half of the other spouses nest egg, women will finally be emancipated economically and not be under the thumb of their husband nor their government.
Δ By investing that 15% directly into the capital markets their monies will fund what we predict will be phenomenal growth in the American economy.
Δ By establishing personal accounts there will be no need for tens of thousands of 401(k) plans or millions of IRAs nor union, teacher and governmental pension plans nor Social Security or Medicare.

There are many more benefits but let’s stop here.

Those who may have hit the panic button let me assure you that under my plan, there will be no reduction in amounts due or benefits paid to present or future retirees. They will be frozen at their present rates with annual upward adjustments for inflation and price increases; that will be the floor under which benefits will not fall. No one will ever get less than what is promised under present Social Security, Disability and Medicare law. Until the time their personal account is sufficient in size to pay more the participant is getting under the old plan he or she will remain on the old benefit rolls.

Now let’s consider the cost to take payroll tax receipts away from the government and put them in personal accounts while at the same time paying benefits to existing and soon-to-be participants. It is easier than you might think.

The $9 Trillion in our national debt is a political fiction. $ 4 Trillion of it was never money borrowed by the government. It was the confiscation of receipts from entitlement programs that had exceeded the benefits paid. Congress confiscated those excess receipts to spend on other programs and now want the public to pay for it again. The $4 Trillion merely accounts for this “hidden tax” on the American people the politicians are trying to duck the responsibility for and stick the taxpayer with. The rise up theory of economics will eliminate this fraudulent practice.

Therefore we never received the money for this debt so we could cancel it and borrow the $4 trillion in real money to get us through the first three years of the transition.

When those funds run out we can use the increased revenue from the income tax to easily pay off the additional $2 trillion it will take to complete the transition. Remember the Reagan tax cuts doubled the income tax receipts and they were stimulated by voluntary infusions of money into the economy – you know the “trickle down”. What I propose is a massive involuntary infusion of capital reducing to insignificance the first couple of years of the Reagan tax cut increases in government income tax revenues.

Since the Reagan tax cut doubled revenues in the first seven years, I believe my plan will triple it within 3 years. That would be an extra $3 Trillion per year in revenue to easily finance the transition and pay off any debt incurred in the first three years of transition. In fact it could easily finance the annual cost of the old program ad infinitum.

Americans should realize that the negative economic news is just the reporting of the mismanagement of our government by politicians. They have failed to realize the method of funding retirement was a zero sum game. That it would eventually implode.

In addition the constant bombardment about our national debt is so much nonsense. We only owe $2.3 trillion to non-Americans; $4 trillion of the $9 Trillion isn’t a debt at all but merely an accounting of Congress’s theft from entitlement programs and the remaining $2.7 trillion is owed to Americans.

Don’t get confused. America is so filthy rich it is embarrassing. On a fair market basis its 4 million miles of interstate would require a replacement cost of over $100 Trillion. Thinking of all of America it is no doubt worth $400 Trillion with a debt to foreigners of a measly $2.2 Trillion. Now ask yourself “Can we afford the transition”. Can we afford a transition that will MAKE THE POOR RICH? That will cut the government and taxes in half?

Yes the RISE UP THEORY OF ECONOMICS is a revolution needing a political base. That base is the American people who have voted overwhelmingly that their politicians in Congress have been doing a poor to miserable job of fulfilling their needs. They are taxing hard working Americans on their earnings not rich people, Rich people already have their nest egg and that nest egg is not being taxed – only the income from it. Poor people need nest eggs too.

Now if what I have said doesn’t make you mad enough, know that your Senators and Congressmen and 3.3 million Federal employees already have personal accounts funded by your tax dollars. They are on their way to becoming millionaires; why not you.

What Republicans and Democrats Want?
Is There Any Common Ground?

Dick McDonald

Faced with the competing interests of right and left - Republicans and Democrats – it was up to me if I was to construct a new economic theory to meet certain basic requirements of both philosophies. The right had recently been obsessed by the need to increase the flow of capital into the equity markets to keep the economy growing. They had devised both the Fair Tax and the Flat Tax to free segments of our society from punitive taxation to increase that flow. Neither, however, was advocating a reduction in the tax load Americans have to bear. Both were just adjusting which Americans were going to do the carrying.

On the other hand, Democrats and their many diverse special interest groups continue to look to the state for answers to their varied social and economic needs and to finance their myriad of programs by taxing the rich.

I concluded that both sides were fighting for money. Republicans were fighting to keep what they had and make more of it and Democrats were fighting the rich to share “some” of it. It boiled down to man’s reason for creating governments in the first place – property – who has it and how can we get it.

These philosophies differ in their way to get property. The Democrats, even the wealthiest of them, come down on the side of compassion believing that taking from the rich to redistribute to the poor is fair and just. On the other hand, Republicans want less taxation in order to pour their funds into the capital markets to create jobs and business that makes America’s capitalist economic system keep pace with its expanding population and improving quality of life..

How can one economic theory meet the “property” demands of both parties? How can it increase the property of the “have-nots” while at the same time increase the property of the “haves”?

I hit on this simple approach; create an economic theory that does both. It must let the have-nots become rich and at the same time let the rich get even richer. To travel that road I had to think outside the box. Religious texts have for millenniums preached that there always will be poor people. If I was to create an economic and societal fix that made the poor rich I would be flying in the face of established religious and political doctrine not to mention the skepticism of most people. That will be the cross that I - and if they agree to it - the American people will have to bear if they want to free themselves from the “big government” nightmare that is confiscating and wasting “their property” in the form of “taxes”..

As a veteran of 40 years of tax planning and shelter operations directed at reducing the tax burden of the rich, I said why not adopt what my Dad drilled into me when I was four and what I eventually did for 40 years; let the people keep their taxes and invest them for themselves in the capital markets to eventually become wealthy. Letting government take their money is like flushing it down the toilet.

So the question came up how can we pump money into the capital markets to make the Republicans happy and at the same time make the Democrats happy by making the poor and middle class rich? To a tax man that was simple. (1) Repeal our entitlement programs, (2) guarantee that the entitlement benefits now in place would all be honored and (3) create involuntary personal investment accounts out of the 15% of payroll taxes deducted every year from working Americans.

Then invest those personal account funds directly into the capital markets to put the economy into hyper drive and make the poor rich.. Viola everyone is happy; ordinary Americans, political parties and most of all the citizens of the world who look to America to guide them to a better life. Republicans get their mother’s milk.- a capital infusion - that will make than richer than ever and the poor and middle class finally get their American Dream.

There you have it; a solution that satisfies the needs of both parties. I call it the “rise up theory of economics” and it is the big brother of the “trickle down theory” that has worked wonders for the rich in the last 25 years. However “rise up” doesn’t just voluntarily “trickle down” from the rich to the middle class and poor. It is going to be an involuntary rain storm of mammoth proportions for all classes of Americans and substantially close the gap between the rich and the poor.
