Castro Promised Change Too

The parallels between the change that Barack Obama promises and that which Fidel Castro promised are indistinguishable. They both just promised economic justice and fairness. In Castro's case it was all rhetoric as what he delivered was abject endemic poverty to an entire nation. Obama will never get the chance to impose a communist-type government on the American people nor do I think he is so stupid to even try.

However, his solutions to the income disparity issue in America is to punish the rich by taking their property and redistributing it to the middle-class. The man is so audacious that he doesn't even mention doing anything for the poor - knowing full well that they pay no taxes now anyway. Unfortunately his policies have been formed by his work as a community organizer bent on making government massively bigger at the expense of the private sector.

As his prescriptions are so collective in nature it is a good reminder to look what Castro did to Cuba and how some rabid right-wing Republicans have drawn parallels between the two. See this video and pass it around. I lived through the Lefts con of the American people that Castro was a force for good. He wasn't and this video reminds us of how our leftist media build up socialism and fooled us. That is what they are doing with Obama and his socialism. We need to heed this warning. Pass it around.
